Are my files stored on your servers?

No, absolutely not. All processing happens entirely in your browser using JavaScript. Your files never leave your device, ensuring complete privacy and security.

What's the file size limit?

Each HEIC file can be up to 50MB in size, which covers most photos from modern devices including high-resolution images from newer iPhones.

What output formats are supported?

You can convert HEIC files to either PNG or JPG format. PNG preserves the highest quality, while JPG offers smaller file sizes with adjustable quality settings.

Can I convert multiple files at once?

Yes, you can select multiple HEIC files and convert them all in one batch. You can also download all converted files as a single ZIP archive.

Why can't I open HEIC files on my Windows computer?

HEIC is Apple's newer image format that isn't natively supported by Windows. Converting to JPG or PNG ensures your images work on all devices and platforms.

Does the conversion reduce image quality?

When converting to PNG, there's no quality loss. For JPG conversion, you can adjust the quality slider to balance file size and image quality according to your needs.

What happens to my converted files?

Once you close the browser tab, all files and converted images are permanently deleted from your device's memory. We don't store anything permanently.
